I got a quote from a reputable company to dig up everything and lay down all new blacktop for my driveway. He said that sealing it wasn’t in the quote and for an extra $500 they would seal it. I see people around here doing their own sealing. Never done it. I want to do it. Is there one product that is better than another? I guess you just roll or brush it onto the new blacktop yes?
The old guy on the corner is out doing his every year….I think he falls into the category of the people who obsess over their lawns. My lawn has dandelions and crabgrass, but I keep it cut, and I whip the corners.
Thanks.

It seems that the sealer is more esthetic than anything else. For the amount of time & $ people put into sealers every year they should look at concrete.
