Oh Jack! Lighten up! Background is not such a big deal, and "originol" should be "original" ;)
*The "law of opposites" hard at work.Speed up that spellchecker next time...only had 30 minutes...J
*Jackb sign me upbut if we don't suceed try this andrew d "How can I politely refuse to give an estimate?" 3/23/99 11:41pmSeans gone of to the Yukon (he can't spell either-"uucon")for some rays (UFO). . . we'll have to make do for the rest of the week, by that time this thread will probably be in limbo land unless you cross thread it with naked dwarf tossing rookie republican beer slappers framing expurgated sliding ventless gazebos.-P-P
*Ok....I really love the white...what a great thing it is!!!J
*Sometims I get the feeling that FHB really just tolerates this group, but really doesn't enjoy usDennis P.S. I buy mine at the newsstand, and have bought a pile of books from them.
*In a pissy mood tonight, so...after you're done killing the "ARCHITECTS" please feel free to "TRUELY" live free or die (the former is preferable, as far as I can tell).
*The spring mellowing of all came and went quickly!!!For all of you, get to your mountain,J
*Truly
*Ah the palace revolt! Now when was AJ anointed "we the Breaktimers"? I've got to start paying more attention here.As for "kill the lawyers", the quote used properly refers to an attempt by scoundrels to overthrow the state, lawyers being a cornerstone of civilization. As such, thank you.-- andrew :o)
*Well, I thought it was a good idea, AJ. Here is my vote for the old background.Rich Beckman
*I vote we kill all the lawyers except my mother, my father and my older brother. The rest are paslode fodder in my book d;-pBlack text on white background gets my vote. Call me traditional...or whatever else pleases you.Steve
*Truly, you are correct, and I stand corrected. Just goes to show I shouldn't be typing anything at 1AM.
*So you're the black sheep?
*I guess so, andrew. When I was a kid I used to hang out in the houses they were building in our suburban subdivision. I came home and said I wanted to be a carpenter. My father, the white collar snob, said no, what I really wanted to be was an engineer. So I went to journalism school instead because my uncle was a photojournalist and it looked like fun. 20 years and one midlife crisis later, I'm a carpenter--with a photojournalism degree.Steve
*When I went to college I wanted to be a photojournalist. Really didn't know what I wanted to be, but that sounded neat. I saw the same kind of snooty attitude towards the trades in high school too. People forget that you're supposed to be happy, not do what you're "supposed" to do.
*Back to brown, and, kill the lawyers. Anything else? BB
