I’m starting to get nervous; a week after I bouhgt another house somebody spray painted my van (with terribly bad spelling) and then somebody stole my friends 40′ ladder out of my side yard.

A motion sensor floodlight would probably do more good than a security cam. Perps hate bright lights that come on suddenly. What are the chances of being able to ID someone caught on a low end security cam?
i use to have a car lot and had some cameras,but the chances of actually getting someone arrested gets a little slim. heres something that worked for me,security cam hooked to a tv that was sitting on a old vcr,that was left on 24 hrs a day and you could see from outside at night through the display windows.the thief then knows he's being recorded and has to decide wheter it's worth the risk.seems like most decided it wasn't.
did have buddy basiclly doing the same thing,once they saw the vcr recording they broke in and stole it!!! oh well can't win them all.
look at sams ,they have a motion detector light with a recorder built in with a sd card,100 bucks,if it works that would be a steal.
it seems like if they stael from you and get by with it they will be back again,thats how it was with the cars.larry
