Self Centering PVC Cutter In Last issue
In the last issue or maybe the one previous there was a short article for a self centering cutter head that would remove the remains of a pipe left inside a fitting.
I can’t seem to find the issue.
Does anyone remember the name of the product, I’m trying to find it to show our plumber.
Thanks

It was in Octobers JLC. It is the Pipe Shredder from Rector Seal.
Thanks...
It might be listed as Golden.http://www.rectorseal.com/gldngrp.htm
Rob Zschoche wrote the article for JLC. He's a good guy and you can find him over at the John Bridge website, pro forum.

Hi Billy, how have you been?
If anyone has any questions about the Pipeshredder, I will be glad to answer them. It's a good tool for a plumber or remodeler to own .

Hey Rob,
Thanks for coming over to Breaktime. I enjoyed your article in JLC. I like the fct that you mentioned the pipe shredder was a quality tool made in the USA. Check out this discussion on the topic of tool origin:http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages?msg=80885.1
I've been doing pretty good, enjoying the last of the warm weather.
Did you start the big kitchen job in Alexandria?
By the way, I still have your 12 foot straightedge. We need to get together and have some red beans and cold beer.

I looks like a sweet tool.
I can think back to a couple of times where it would have come in handy to not have to cut into the wall behind a cabinet when swapping sinks and what not.
Do you know where it can be purchased online?
I don't know about online availability. I bought it at Ferguson Enterprises. Since they are a nationwide company, maybe there is a branch near you?
I think I paid $275 for the set.
I think the $275 would be a bargain if just once you did not have to cut into a wall...
We do have Ferguson out here.
Thanks
