I recently built a spec home & have had quite a few people interested in buying it at the stage it’s at (sheetrock is finished & primed). My question is, how do you sell an unfinished home? Unless the buyers have the cash to buy it outright or atleast to finish it the banks won’t loan. I did sell this one unfinished because the buyer had the cash to finish it but I’m going to build another one. Since so many people were interested in buying unfinished I’d like to offer the next one that way. Does anyone have any experience in this type of selling? Forget me financing any portion! I’m a builder not a bank.
