I have a ranch with a 1 car garage. On the garage side I would like to put an attached shed. I would also like to use pressure treated wood to frame the floor instead of a concrete slab. My tentative plan is to lag bolt a 2X10 to the existing concrete foundation wall, have a beam sitting on piers on the other side and use 2X10 joists between them for the floor, the span will be 12 ft. What I am looking for is opinions pro and con on this idea as well as alternative ideas. Any input is appreciated.
