Hi all-
I keep running into this problem – I’m looking for a product that may not exist. I am building a new house, and in the shower room, I would like to have pump head soap dispensers that go through the shower wall to a cabinet on the other side of the wall, where the supply tubes can simply go into the soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles. The standard pump soap dispensers that I can find are for mounting on a horizontal surface and are held in place by gravity, which of course will not work for a vertical wall. Does anyone know of dispensers that can be vertically mounted. I just want a simple, clean installation, with a hole through the tile into the cabinet in the next room. Anyone who can help, thanks!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
Whats amatter, you affraid you will drop the soap?
I think you can use the existing pumps, but with modification. Cut the plastic draw stem that normally goes to the bottom of the bottle, leaving about an inch. Find a flexible plastic tube, say 1/4" diameter, to fit over that stem, give yourself a good 16" of slack to work with.
Get your favorite shampoo bottle, and drill a 1/4" hole in the cap (or whatever size your tube is). Fit the tube through to the bottom. Make a nesting spot for the bottle in your cabinet.
You may need to grind off the tip of the dispenser to have it squirt down instead of back at the wall.

Oh, good Lord, no. But I can give him two dollars and an assault rifle.
I've certainly seen soap dispensers like this in the past. The question is whether they're still made, and, if so, whether they're suited to a shower (most being designed for lav use where they don't need to be water-tight).
Whatever you use, you should take extra precautions for the inevitable water leaks around the dispenser.
Of course, there's always the high school locker room style:
