Do they make a coupling ( maybe compression ?) that I could use to join two kitchen sprayer hoses? I have a new sprayer & hose but I also have a 14″ deep sink & a broken rib so I am not at all wanting to stuff myself under the sink to change the hose. Thanks 🙂

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

Not a "compression" but a barbed insert with clamps.
Same hose as soda machine lines.
Problem being is the clamps getting through the hole in the sprayer insert that's in the sink.

*************I should be OK ( temp fix ) just joining the new 4' to the old though yes ? Run it the new through the simk hole & join below ? Bobbi
Sounds like it will be fine. Broken ribs are no fun. I think the worst part for me was trying to sleep.

Thanks. Yeah sleeping sucks. Having one arm too. And I managed to break a back one.Bobbi
If you're joining below then just put a new one on ;-)
The connection will be fine.

*****I'll fix it right as soon as I have two arms & can move again. No way I can reach up behind the sink for a while Bobbi
Good call. It's often painful enough working under the sink. I can't imagine what it would feel like with a broken rib.

Was Thursday. They changed to Fridays.
Somdays life is too complicated.
We actually get paid on Thursday if you get paid by mail.
I have direct deposit, so I get my stub on Thursday & credit to my account on Friday.
the only thing that sucks about direct deposit, is trying to have a check pool on the job.

***************I think I did. Going to head to the store in a few & check for parts. I do know there is no such thing as a simple plumbing project when it comes to me. Nothing ever quite goes as planned but at least I keep the guys at Ace entertained :-)

I'm looking at the first post? why can't you just put the new spray head on the existing hose?

*************The end connector seems to be different. The new head screws on & the other seemed to have snapped on. Of course it could have all been the same at one time with a portion of the old hose being tossed out with the old head.Bobbi
Take a look at the new one ? maybe possible to remove end and replace on old one.
they have a washer -if you pop it off sometimes under it is a little c clip may be able to swap with old.

Thanks. It's over at the house but I'm not but I'll look tomorrow. I did get a coupling & a clamp just in case. I only need for it to work for a couple of months & I'll fix it right. Also found out while checking things out that I have no hot water shut off valve so I'll add one & an instant hot water dispenser all at once when I can move again :-)Bobbi
