   Paint stores should have some sort of traction paint, or an additive for regular deck paint.

   Your best exterior paint for PT lumber with play sand  mixed in it. Put about a quart in a seperate bucket and add sand. Do a test patch and add more sand untill it is the texture you want.

   sand an marine varnish will last 2 years in mn weather use course sand
