Just learning to do the video thing – here are my first attempts

edited to add: sorry, I’m having a problem with the flickr video uploads – am attempting to switch to you-tube, and then I’ll edit and add the new links.

looked good on my screen.
is there a reason you didn't combine both parts of the skip trowel in one video? time limit or something?
k
I let some drying time occur, and shut the camera off for a few minutes. I'm sure I can combine them, once I learn the ins and outs of editing. Probably need to purchase a program for that? Not sure. I'm really green at this video stuff.
edited to add: the camera was set up on a tripod - it felt funny talking to a camera in an empty room. I'll get used to it eventually.
Also, I notice the videos all got cut short for some reason, not sure why that is.

I thought your delivery was fine, actually. didn't seem uncomfortable, nor overly folksy. and i understood every word you said, which is not to be taken for granted.
pretty dang good for first attempts.

Thanks. Here's the link to them videos on YouTube. I'm not sure how to embed them from youtube, like I can with flickr (but that's for a website, not for BT - doesn't work on BT). Flickr always cuts them off at one minute 30 seconds.

Here's a photo in strong side light, to show the texture (its pretty subtle under normal light, this is just so you can know what texture I'm referring to)View ImageView Image “Good work costs much more than poor imitation or factory product” – Charles GreeneCaliforniaRemodelingContractor.com
yeah, I thought I saw 1:30 for the flicker videos. That was why I asked. I guess that's their max? seems needlessly limiting.
keep it up.

edit: flickr? flicka? flickah? sorry, i'll get with it one of these millenia.

huck when i try your link youtube says the video is not available
temporary glitch, apparentlyView Image “Good work costs much more than poor imitation or factory product” – Charles GreeneCaliforniaRemodelingContractor.com
No glitch here, came thru well.
No primer under the texture paste, aye?
Did you use a tinted primer over the top of the finished product before the topcoat?
Cheers.

Not quite sure the question, but no paint or primer until drywall is finished, textured, and final-sanded. View Image bakersfieldremodel.com
