Who remembers an article about a renovation including a large rolling roof window used for access to a deck on the roof?
This was home designed and built, looked good and looked like it would work well.
Have just such a client at the moment and this came to mind.
Any ather suggestions for access to a flat roof from a stair(spiral or other) that would not involve building a room on the roof to accomodate a door?
thanks,

Here's a couple you might check out: http://www.bilco.com, http://www.rollamatic.com
*Thanks Calvin, Rolamatic might be just what I am looking for and have gotten in touch with them.Would still like to find that article on the home built one that I remember seeing.By the way, where is glass city?Irving
*Beautiful, yet fragile, Toledo Ohio.
*I recently put in a Bilco and it works well for the same application. Nice skylight to. It's a fairly common use for roofdeck access here in Boston
