Need some advise on installing class 3 pipe for a wood burner up through a slate roof! There must be some sort of special flashing somewhere? I’ve search the net with no luck! Help– any one who has done this? Thanks!

Make it..copper. Ya need the collar (like a vent stack boot) and a storm collar over that.
on second thought, the manu. of the chimney oughtta have all ya need in the install kit.

Julian,
Try this site. It was a big help when I was having my slate roof repaired.

Here's a listing from their "Tools and Supplies" section:
"Copper Base Vent Pipe Flashingscopper base vent flashing
For pipes from 1.25" to 3" diameter: $30.00 each or five for $120.00
For pipes 3" to 4" diameter: $35.00 each or five for $140.00"
Thanks alot Cynthia! The site was of great help!
The flashings for solid fuel pre-fab chimneys are proprietary - you need a flashing and storm collar manufactured by the same people who made the chimney. Do you have the chimney already? Dealing with the slate is the big problem. Check the jenkins slate site above for some instruction and the proper tools.
