Slatted insert in entry floor. Sources?
I thought one of you involved in commercial work might know the name for these, and sources of supply.
You know it. You walk on it entering the vestibules of many stores and commercial buildings, particularly in snow country.
Extruded aluminum slats each housing a strip of rug fabric, all parallel, sitting on runners underneath, the whole shebang housed in a recess in the floor so the top is flush. Removeable and replaceable. All the grit goes through and so does the melted slush.

We usually use Pedigrid by C/S Group on our commercial jobs but they have other options.
