I,m getting ready to deck a porch with a rubber membrane. What is the best way to attach the sleepers to the rubber? In the past I have just let them “float”, but in this instance I am not comfortablewith this. Can I use construction adhesive or is there some speciality glue I need to use?

In the past we've usually had posts (4x4 or 6x6's) installed before the roof membrane. The roof is then flashed around the posts. The sleepers then can be fastened to the posts (still "floating above the membrane"), but secure. You can still make the deck removable like that. The railing posts hold one end & the toe kick under the door can hold the opposite side (if that application works for you)
Just my $.02

Skillsaw,
Thanks for your reply . this particular porch is a covered screen porch. I will set 10" colomns on top of the deck after the fact. I guess my main question was if the construction glue would be corrosive to the rubber membrane. Anyone else?
