Greetings all,
I have a situation where we are looking install a double set of interior doors that slide apart from one another similar to a pocket door. Where these doors will be different than a pocket door is that the doors will not be in a pocket, but will be exposed when they are in the open position. What I am looking for is a source on where to find the mounting hardware for the doors for this sort of application. What I do not want is just a rail at the top, where the bottom is free to swing out. Anybody done anything like this or have a supplier that has this sort of hardware?
Thanks for any ideas!

Hi,
I just went through research on sliding door hardware. Johnson Hardware that the previous poster was one that I also found. Also take a look at these two:
KN Crowder : http://www.kncrowder.com/slidingdoor/
Hafele : http://www.hafele.com/us/services/4455.asp
Both of these sell sliding door hardware for surface mount and you can use guide rail inset in the floor or door to prevent the bottom from swinging out.
KN Crowder is an actual manufacturer and reasonably priced. It's the one I purchased and it's very good quality hardware.
Hafele is the distributor for Hawa sliding door hardware (http://www.hawa.ch/hawa/index.php?L=1) It's probably the best and most expensive you will find.
