On market for these, did not like Pella’s screen on inside of patio doors.
Also I was told by a window dealer who sell both Anderson and Marvin.
1. Nice looking Anderson 400 Frenchwood, vinyl clad jamb(frame?) and vinyl PAINTED door, they tend to warp because of big piece of wood.
I like the look and weight.
2. He recommends Integrity by Marvin, made of fiberglass( what they call Ultex?) both on jamb and doors. hollow frame, light weight. They look pretty good.
3 The better Marvin aluminm clad doors and window cost 40% more than 2 above, not necessary cost effective.
But, since they have completly design and manufacture philosiphy, what do you say about the quality of them? Experts?
Thanks

The exterior of an Andersen Frenchwood door is a urethane based finish. I haven't seen one yet that really needed painting. Most times they just need a good cleaning.
Haven't seen too many warp either. It usually happens because they are not finished on the interior promptly after installation. If you keep the door shut and locked, usually it'll straighten out.
