Dremel probably has smallest plunger. For very compact fixed base plunger: PC 310 about the sweetest.
See Routers for that.
*I was surprised to read in Tool Crib that Freud makes a plunge router Laminate Trimmer, in a kit, with extra bases (trimmer base and angle base) for $159.00. Sounds neat for all that close up stuff (I use my laminate trimmer for a lot of things besides trimming laminate, and I don't like the silly mechanism engineered for adjusting the depth of the bit).Gary
*It seems lately that I use my laminate trimmer more for slightly easing the edges on cabinet doors built for inset application. Just exposing part of a 1/4" round over bit does the trick quite well. Ditto on the depth adjusting mechanism.
*Mad Dog,I suppose you know that a 1/16-in-radius roundover bit is available from most makers. I use one for easing the edges on doors, as well as for most everything that doesn't get another edge treatment. It's also good for finishing the edge of edgebanded veneer goods.
*Gary I have a similar bit and like to hit all the edges of any case work I do with it. It seems to give it a real pro-looking finish. Doesn't look like much until you runn a couple of edges with it. Skip
