I am looking for a Drafting or Cad program that will give me the ability to lay out the stud placements and jacks and headers as well rafter design. Been having problems with helpers missinterperting instructions. I need to be able to completely draw out all of the rough framing for the crew. It needs to be precise. Been looking but haven’t found one yet. Can anyone help.

you can do that in Chief Architect.. but it's a lot of work.. easier to just supervise the crew and get exactly what you want
you can also make field adjustments that you can't make with software
Thank you for your responce but I need to have it drawn out. I have my way that I want things done. It is a tragedy to have to leave one job for another only to return an hour later and have them tear it apart because it is all wrong. Drawing it out will leave no question as to what to do.
seems like you need an SOP for the framing details you want them to use
a loose-leaf binder organized by category should take care of your problems
one for floors, one for walls, one for roofs, one for stairs, closets, etc
... when you "Build Framing" in Chief, it will build whatever you spec and draw it that way.. getting the exact spec in is very time consuming
you can then go in and edit components.... but getting it exact in a complex frame is probably not worth the time
give me some examples of things they do differently from the way you want them

Softplan will do that easily once the plan design is done. Basicly just choose Framing and then print, though you might want to label walls first.
but I am with Mike, if you have help that is so clueless, you need to hire and pay a good lead carpenter or spend your time at the job.
The only times I have made frame drawings is when I did a couple for friends who were DIYs and not frame carpenters.
