We’re finishing our first foray into SS, a large fairly elaborate reception desk sort of thing, where final assembly has to be done onsite.
For a few reasons, finishing the seams on site will be an issue. I’m thinking of scraping off the squeeze out of the adhesive once it gels to avoid/minimize the amount of sanding, routing etc… Any thoughts or suggestions? Mucho gracias…

fein or festool sander and dust collection.
All proposals always stated that onsite finishing required sanding/polishing and some dust was to be expected. I have eevn come out and told customers that we are not a maid service and we would try to everything we could to try a minimalize any dust that bypasses our vacuum ssytems.
I now have two air purifiers(Jet brand) that I would not hesitate to take them with me if I still did solid surface
Well... I have all that stuff, but I'm reallyyyyyy trying to avoid all that (if at all possible) for a bunch of reasons. Noise and dust are only some of the concerns but may wind up having to just deal with it. Anyway, thanks for the reply...
Do it at night and cover everthing. You'll be better without someone breathing down your neck commenting!
LOL... Best idea yet ;)
