Bats eat lost of 'skeeters..........
I read so much about the bad effects of sex, overeating, and drinking that I finally decided to give up reading.

This is second-hand advice from my father (a veterinarian):
All sound-based 'pest repellents' work for a matter of time, until the 'pest' just gets used to the thing...which they all eventually do.
hmmmmmm...... if these are countryfried bats, maybe some rap music
funkycity bats...classical
motown bats..... bluegrass
and for those disco bats... perhaps some old fashioned gospel"revival" type music, should keep them away.no turn left unstoned
Another helpful organization is OBC (Organization for Bat Conservation), based in Michigan. I've attended their lectures, they bring live bats as a sortof show-and-tell. The up close and personal fascinates any kids in attendance(er, some adults too).Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good w/ketchup.

Thanks everyone. I'm surprised that nobody mentioned hanging garlic from the rafters. LOL
I love having the bats around my place and have built bat boxes. I live in a wet area with lots of mosquito habitat but suffer few bites because of the bats and frogs we encourage. The lady of the house I am working on is one of those from genteel refined old southern families who would probably have to make a trip to the hospital to quiet her fluttering heart if she saw one in her house or viewed any droppings though.Excellence is its own reward!
