Can you attach 4 foot sonotubes together and cut to make 6 foot sonotubes?
Buying by the foot instead of the mass produced 4 footers is like 3x’s as expensive.

Unless you need a 6 foot column I would make my footing 2 feet thicker and use the 4 foot sonotube
I completely forgot about the footing. Thanks for the reminder. I will only need a 4 foot sonotube then.
Can you attach them together? Yes.
Will the final form be straight? Probably not perfectly so. If not too far off AND if you're considering a 12" diameter tube, you're probably okay (put the 2' portion at the bottom).
Join the 2 pieces with Gorilla duct tape (or equal).
I would strongly recommend the use of a spread footing form (e.g. BigFoot). In fact, if you do use a this you may not need much more than a 4 foot form.
Thanks for the reply. As a couple have stated I will just thicken the footing underneath it.
Check local suppliers. I purchased 12 ft long tubes and cut to length.
