I need to remove soot from face brick on a fire damaged house I’m restoring. Any one have a good solution for that? The brick is in excellent condition, I’m not worried about damage from careful powerwashing.

John, try some Simple Green and a brush .....pretty effective .....for stubborn places use it straight without diluting.
