Any ideas? I am trying to find a soundproofing material that will go under an oak tongue and groove floor without raising the level of the floor. This is for an apartment building with concrete floor and only a small gap between the floor and the concrete. I am planning to remove the floor and replace it. any help will be appreciated. Den

I'm in the same situation. I am looking for somebody's advice on the Quiet Accoustic Mats by Owens Corning. Go to http://www.owenscorning.com, and you will see the spec. on this material. It goes under flooring and suppose to reduce the impact noises. Good Luck. I am still waiting for a response on this product. I hope I could help.
