Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a good source for ceiling medallions? I need some for a raised portion of a kitchen ceiling where I have removed the old fluorescent light box and put in four 6″ can lights and crown molding.
I need to cover the old outlet box at one end of the raised ceiling where the flurescents were plugged in, and which serves now as my junction box for the cans. I thought to use a small medallion to cover the j-box while leaving it accessible, and to put a matching medallion at the other end.
The small scale of the raised ceiling area (4’x8′ and only 9″ deep) dictates that the medallions be 8-10″ in diameter and with less than 1 1/2″ projection. I’d also like to find an eliptical medallion for the center.
Thanks in advance,
BruceT

Thanks, but I went there first. You get Hobson's choice - they've got one size in your choice of one style. Ganahl Lumber Co. was no help and neither was World of Molding.Sites I Googled have lots of large ones, but not much in the way of small ones with not much projection.BruceT
Do some Googling and find the website for San Francisco Victoriana. They have quite a few.
I saw a place on This Old House that was in NY. They have everything you could ever want. Can't remember the name, maybe you can look it up.
Contact these folks, maybe.
