I need a small amount (40 ft) of exterior crown, about 5-1/4″ wide to replace one wall of a 150 year old house. I assume I’ll have to have the knives ground, as it doesn’t seem to be a common profile.
But I’m having a tough time even finding anyone in CT who can run anything this wide.
Where does everyone go for this kind of stuff? Mid-southern CT would be great, but I’d drive anywhere in the state at this point.
Thanks,
Willis Morse

or
is there any chance you can post a drawing or photo of what you are looking for? Several of us here have the W&H machine or we might be able to locate the pattern in a book

Thanks, everyone, for the great leads. I've contacted them all, and I'm getting quotes as we speak.
As soon as I can make a scale drawing, I'll post it here.
Thanks again,
Willis Morse
Here's the crown profile. If need be, I can run the angles on a table saw, I really just need to get the cove and ogee machined.
Thanks,

Let us know who you went with and how it worked out.
Where are you? I'm in Roxbury.

Good folk.
That looks like a pretty standard Brosco 8003 or 8004 off the top of my mind

I'm pretty sure that Woodbury Supply, in Woodbury, does custom runs. Their # is 203-263-4441. Conway's in Gaylordsville is another possibility, and I'd also consider Kellogs in Bethel.
Sorry, I don't have the numbers for the latter two at hand.
Good luck,
Andy

I have used a very similar moulding from Lakeland Lumber out of Greenwich, CT. 203-348-3761. They also have offices in Stamford and Bethel.
It's a stock item. They have quite a few different lines. If you like, I beleive they can aslo do custom runs - Cha-Ching!
