source for post – concrete systems?

Hello,
Anyone have a source for *cool* post-concrete fasteners that I could use for a custom exterior screen wall? I am thinking of doing sonotube piers and having the posts rest on them (instead of burying the posts) but really don’t like any of the basic connectors I have spotted. Any source or is this a custom fabrication thing for my metal guy?

What size post?
I like short lengths of I beam under my 6x6 posts. Requires trimming the post feet to fit. Alternatively, custom feet that go a ways up the post are always nice. Scrap 1/4 or 5/16 plate.

Thanks for the reply. Post size? Probably a 4x4, but might do a 6x6 base with a combination of thinner posts and blocking at the base.
