I plan to build a “loft”, 15’x7′, in my pole barn for a desk and light storage area. On the 15′ sides one will run from one 6″x6″ post to another and the other 15′ side will be a ledger board against a wall framed with 2″x6″‘s 24oc. Floor joists will be 2″x8″‘s running across the 7’ side, decking 5/8″ osb. I planned to use 2 2″x12″‘s (one on each side of the 6″x6″) to go from one 6″x6″ to the other 15’ away. Am I overbuilding?

I ain't real clear on exactly what you're doing, but have one comment/suggestion.
Hanging a floor on a ledger isn't a good idea. It's difficult to get enough nails into the ledger to support the amount of weight you need to support.
It's much better to have something UNDER your headers. (like a stud)
How do you tell when you run out of invisible ink?
The thru-bolts-bolts you use for your ledger should be for holding the ledger to the pole. Lags will work. But,You need to jack up each ledger with by sistering on 2 x 6", under each ledger. so the load is on the jack, not the bolt, Stacked. Add a post in the middle on each side.
How will you bolt thru, is the siding on yet? The joists will keep the 2 x 12 against the pole if you just use Lags.
Also if your going 24" o.c. .I would go with 3/4" osb, but why not add a couple of joists, go 16" 0.c. It would be cheaper. Less weight.
Of course you could always Notch the Pole about 1" to recieve that 2 x 12, but you had better ask your wife first.

I'd be notching all my legers into the framing, both 2x6 at wall and at posts about 1" to get bearing under.
