Howdy all.
I’m 2 months from finishing my house, and I’d like to explore having sprayed in place foam on the underside of my roof, but I cannot locate anyone who does it.
Any experience here? Any contractors close to western MD? Is it worth it? (the rest of the house is ICF, 10/12 pitch, 1700s.f. small area of house in scissor trusses)
Otherwise its blown in fiberglass, and I’d prefer to not go there, especially to keep the hvac ducts inside the conditioned space.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I've been planning for a few years, just at the insulation fork in the road... but one path seems impossible. The tiger foam website is something I will look into; I have 25 squares of roof to insulate, and the estimate was $7500, partly because the guy was going to drive 5 hours to do the job!

Thanks. I once thought the DIY approach would be outrageously expensive, but now that I have an estimate from an installer its looking better...

Brian,
I used SIPs laid flat on my ceiling.. They span a tremendous distance and are wonderfully efficent as an insulation.. If you are worried about wire chases etc. just raise your ceilings a few inches and then put a false or lowered ceiling back in..
Brian,
Call Corbond yourself. Talk to Blair Johnson and he will direct you the best he can.
The website is sometimes out of date. I install Corbond and am located in western Massachusetts, a little too far from you.
Good luck, and you will not be dissapointed with the Corbond. It's the best insulation available.
