I have several old stain glass windows in my New Jersey House from 1920’s. One has a storm window on the outside, but the others don’t (and they cant be installed-they are small, thin windows next to the front door). Anyone have any ideas for installating another layer inside or out which can help insullate the windows a bit. The saran wrap like stuff won’t fit in with the look of the house. Thanks for the thoughts.

I don't see why you couldn't install storm windows so long as they were made of tempered glass. Or you could make some of UV resistant polycarbonate.

Cant you install storm windows on both sides, have seen it done.
Not a complete 3 rail storm but a single pane that has about 1/2" alum. frame.
You can have them custom made to whatever size you need.
