I have roughly 11,000 lf of 1×8 pine car siding to stain and install. I’m trying to figure out if it would be better to stain and seal before install or after. Normally we stain it first but because of the quantity we are really short on space for staining. Anyone have any expierence with staining after it is installed. It seems like the grooves will show after the wood shrinks and all the unstained would will show.
Thanks
