yeah I thought this would get attention but oh such a boring topic. What’s folks opionion of brands of steam showers, ventilation, need for exaust, benefits or pitfalls of a window, tiling products and of course overhead rain head and the importance and placement of shower bars. (so that hot chick (I heard it was a stinkin body double for the close up shots) from flashdance can properly service my Dewalt).

Well, as far as the windows go, I'm for 'em! Clear glass too!
*In college, one of our buddie's girlfriend's moved into an apartment with 8 other girls. They had a full length window in the second floor shower stall that overlooked a narrow alley between two houses. My buddie tried in vane to get these girls to put a shower curtain up over the window but they kept saying that no one could see them, it was just an empty alley. One night a group of about ten of us "borrowed" furnature off of all the porches on the street and set them all in the alley facing the window. The next day the girls were freeking out about this and finally bought that shower curtain.Oh back to the topic...I'm with jb. Glass, lots of glass.
*Maybe a good quality security camera, too!. Color of course.
*Security camera? A web cam!Rich Beckman
*With audio!
*I'm thinkin' a trapeeze would be a real nice feature in there too.
*Michael,I'm betting that you regret the "let's get their attention gimmick" about now. FWLIW (for what little it's worth)(I am NOT the voice of experience here), exhaust fans are important in bathrooms, be sure your venting to the outside. I love a window in the bath, nothing like fresh clear spring air in the bathroom. I've never used an overhead spray head, but I bet I'd love it. Also, I love tile in a bath. This is pretty much the full extent of my knowledge...maybe someone else can help more.Rich Beckman

watch your tile adhesive. my first steamed shower had the tiles fall off the wall on the first test. the adhesive was only rated to 140 degrees. i use thinset now if steamers are in the plan

Jennifer Beals was that flashdance chick.
*Yeah, she was the star, but I think she was not the dancer. If I remember correctly, I think they may actually have had several dancers, including a guy for one where the dancer was spinning. (Been a long time since I saw it and movie trivia is not my strong suit, but just thought inquiring minds might want to know...)
*CaseyR, please dont tell me that beautiful butt I lusted after back then was a guys. :-(
