Stiletto titanium v. Douglas steel hamme
I’m looking for a framing hammer to replace my Hart framer. Specifically, I wonder if anyone has compared a Stiletto titanium to a Douglas steel?
That Douglas looks high tech, but maybe the titanium is better? Thanks

For framing, I would always go with Titanium over steel. I have the Stiletto Ti-bone hammer and have been using it for 2 1/2 years. I love it and wouldn't trade it for any steel hammer. It's expensive, but I haven't broken a handle in 2 1/2 years either :-) My old Dalluge 24oz broke a handle about every 2 or 3 months.
I have both. I like the titanium better. Much easier to swing all day.
I cant comment on the titanium, other than I kind of wish I could try one out, but since I also fell completely in love with my Hart framer (and it broke finally - waaaaa) if you don't end up spending the money on a titanium, the Doug is one that will feel very similar to the original Hart in your paw. I like it very well.
