So, just like I knew would happen did.
The 10 cents extra offered by the contractors & the verbiage changes & the contract passed soundly.
I did get up to the mic & explain what our last contract did & showed what inflation did, but that fell on deaf ears.
Whole lotta sob stories about house payments car payments & can’t afford a strike crapp—— good thing my unions founding forefathers had a backbone or we would probably be making a buck over minimum wage.
oh well life goes on, another 3 yrs of less buying power at the end than at the beginning.
But on the bright side tomorrow we get a 5.06% increase on the check, but that means future allocations will have to go to health & welfare.

I was going thru my receipts the other day. My cell phone bills are about 40% of what they used to be.
