stripper/crimper/bolt cutter metric??

MisterT | Posted in Tools for Home Building on May 13, 2008 10:31am

You know them combo tools that come in the sets of crimp connectors.

Has any one seen one with the thread in bolt cutters in metric sizes??

Been getting a lot of knobs and pulls lately with metric threads and those cut off screws.

and they don’t cut off very well and I don’t feel like belt sanding them any more.

thanx

I had my dad send me one from the uk. it was not cheap, so I made sure I got a good 'un.

Tough to find here!! Mine was about $45.

Try some of the electrical supply houses, you might get lucky.

put a nut on it, and cut it off with a hacksaw, jigsaw or whatever.. then when you remove the nut, it will clean up the threads for you
