Purchased a century old farm house with aluminum siding. Beneath this is cedar shingles, appear to be in good shape. Many layers of paint, blistered, chalking, etc… I have tried to no avail to find advice on stripping the paint: lots of “don’tdon’st nothing constructive. I favor the natural look- stain w/clear fiIish- as long as all traces of paint can be removed.
