Recently my customer asked me to repaint the exterior of their home located in NE Oklahoma. The home is clad with a stucco product or system called ” TEIF”. The contractor at the time told the home owner that the use of cement board as an underlayment was better than foam. The home was finished in ’02 and as already developed hairline cracks where the cement board underlayment was taped. These cracks have developed over the entire structure. Does anyone have any input on how this should be repaired or if it even can be. I was also told that Elasomeric Paint would be a suitable paint to use in this situation.
Thank you
