Hi,
Just wondering if someone could give me an idea of price per sqft for (material and labour) stucco around a square chimney. Its going over red brick in good condition. Total area approx 129 sqft.
Based in Ontario Canada, US prices shouldn’t be too far off I guess.
Thanks,
Wayne

Out in Seattle, one guy from one place at one time last year gave me a rough estimate of $2/sf for tearing off stucco and $11/sf for putting on stucco. All assuming a single-story, stick-framed house (no scaffolding). Traditional 3-coat, not EIFS. Materials and labor.

How hard is it to access? I don't have a clue about stucco prices, but if I did I'm sure I'd have to add for staging and roof protection. Possibly more to set up and shake down than the job itself. More info is necessary.

Its a single story dwelling, the chimney is located in the middle of a reasonably flat roof, could not get any easier. About 6' high by 7'10" long with a slope from 3' 4" at one end to 6' at the other, about 3'10" wide.Wayne

Has anyone on this forum done any stucco jobs that could give me a sqft estimate?
Thanks.
That type of job would go for $2.50/ft in southern Colorado, maybe add a little to get up on the roof, assuming wiring the chimney, and western two-coat.
Probably couldn't get a bigger stucco sub who's busy to even look at it, so it would fall to a jack-of-all-tradesman, probably cost twice that.
Hope this helps.
