Commercial supers here in central NJ (Newark, New Brunswick, etc) range from $75,000 to $120,000 a year, with full benefits, company car, 401K, 3 weeks vacation, and yearly or quarterlt bonuses. I’ve seen some as high as $150k. Additionally, they expect there to be a project engineer to handle submittals, RFI’s, invoicing, etc., and a purchasing agent to handle the buys. They just build the job.

Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell'em "Certainly, I can!" Then get busy and find out how to do it. T. Roosevelt
Most of the ones that I know are making $35 to $45 an hour.
Funny you mention it in generality. Its not general information at all.
The way I understand it they are rated on past achievments .
A friend of mine gets shipped around the country traveling with the same company to build stores. He makes a 100,000 plus all bennies. Hes from here but a motel and truck is his home. I dont think location matters in that scenario. He gets flown often and they buy what he needs or they have it shipped. I guess his best attribute is getting a job started with officials , as hes pretty legal experienced with constuction process. He may handle as many as five jobs at once being flown around. Smaller stores though, not giants.
