Welcome to BT Dave,
FWIW, Might be best to say with manufacturers that offer good service and support in your area. Have you checked what the local lumberyards carry? Other than that of course there are the big national companies like Pella, Anderson, etc. Are you looking for something specific?

I watched a coule of guys install 11 windows in a house I was putting a bathroom in. All replacement in one day actually 5 hours. Nxt day a guy comes and does the tin. I have resided house and installeed windows but not like that. Total on job was 6400. Ive seen replacement windows in HD for 145$ each Now I am interested.
I noticed you're in New York. Do you have any Harvey Industries near you? I'm in MA and they sell a ton of replacement windows in my area. They only sell to licensed contractors and they do a ton of marketing and are good to the contractors that deal with them.
They get a load of business from homeowners who see the commercials on TV and wander in. If you get 'certified' by Harvey's you get put on their list of contractors which will get passed to the homeowners. They even give cut rates on t-shirts and truck signs that bear the Harvey logo as well as your own logo to help complete the package. It's good business for them and it can be good business for you if you hold up your end of the bargain. As far as vinyl windows go, they make a pretty good one and have good customer service and a good name.
