Bought a $9.98 7-1/4″ diamond blade from harbor freight a few months back, figured what did I have to lose by trying it. Finally got around to sawing a driveway segment that tree root was buckling. In an old cheap 5.5Amp Skilsaw (didn’t want to trash the bearings on anything good), went thru 4 feet of concrete (stiff 6 sack mix poured at 2-1/2″ slump 11 yrs ago)at 3 inches deep in about 8 minutes with blade kept wet from garden hose.
