Any advice for curing a problem of interior doors that rub on the frame? It happens in the summer, then goes away in the winter. Yes, they are sealed on all 6 sides. One of my homes has only one door that does it, another has at least 10. Both homes have central heat/air in a northern state. My other homeowners have had no complaints.

Where is the rub occuring: the top, hinge or latch edge? Do you bevel the latch edge of the door?

*Here is one area I get into big arguements about. 1st leave that plane in the toolbox!!! Gently pry off the trim / casing. remove the door. take out the shims that cause the sticking (or if there aren't any shims then you have to remove the jams and remove wood from the framework), reset the nails, rehang the door, test, reinstall the trim. Doors should be square! It's a lazy butcher who resorts to the plane!
