Can anyone point me to a table of relative R values for most types of insulation? I’d like to figure out (or look up if I could) the $$:R ratio for the differing materials … FG batt, cellulose, polyiso, BIBS, etc.

I can't tell from my notes exactly where I got this table. It may have been from JLC before they started charging. Sorry about the formatting. The second set of numbers, for the loose-fill types only, is density in pounds per cubic foot.
Insulation Type R-Value per inch
Loose-fill
Fiberglass 2.2-2.9 0.5-1
(dense pack) 3.4-4.2 1.6-3
Rock wool 2.2-2.9 1.7
Cellulose 3.1-3.7 1.5-2
(dense pack) 3.4-3.6 3-4
Batts
Fiberglass 2.9-4.2
Cotton 3-3.7
Sprayed Insulation
Polyurethane foam 5.6-6.2
Icynene foam 3.6-4.3
Wet-spray cellulose 2.9-3.4
Spray-in fiberglass 3.7-3.8
Foam board
Expanded polystyrene 3.9-4.2
Extruded polystyrene 5
Polyisocyanurate 5.6-7
Polyurethane 5.6-7
Phenolic (closed cell) 8.2
Phenolic (open cell) 4.4
And here's a link to another table.
