Hi!
I have a large stationary compressor in my shop. Ingersoll Rand, 60 gallon tank, 175 PSI, 14.8 cfm, etc. Nice and big and great for auto work. But, for installing baseboards in the house (my current project) with a SFN40 nailer, it is not real convenient. I see 3 choices
1. Buy a smaller, portable compressor.
2. Buy a really long hose.
3. Buy one of those little portable 5 gallon air tanks for about $20.
If I went with option 1, the wife would probably kill me.
If I went with option 2, I would have to deal with all that hose which is a pain.
So, I was thinking about option 3. What I’m not sure of is how many nails I could shoot off of one of those little tanks. Any ideas?? If I could shoot 50+ nails on a full tank, it would probably be fine for the little stuff I do.
Thanks,
Steve
