I did a job last year for a friend of mine whos’ brother is an electrician. I framed him a larger addition and his brother wired in a temp panel. Smartest thing I’ve evr seen on a reno. I’ve seen them many times on new homes but not usally on a reno. It was just an outdoor panel with teck cable he ran into the house to a 40 amp breaker. It was so nice to use with 4 circuts on it your never tripping breakers and if you do the panels right there. Anyone else do this and if so what’s your variation. I want something for framing jobs thats quick and easy.

I put together a Tower of Power with a hand truck, 3/4 ply backer and a rain tight load center. Around the load center were eight receptacles in four J boxes. Four receptacles were direct 20 circuits. The other four were two on one 20A breaker. Delightful Overkill. So sick of seeing six or more cords on one 20A circuit - even when we have 4 or more to use.
It connects via a spider cord to the 50A outlet on the temp pole. You could downsize this for remodels.
We have had a lot of problems getting good job power on remodels. Can't use serious compressors. Blow the old breakers. About the only serious power location available is the dryer outlet in the laundry.
