Is the attachment limit truly now 3 MB per post and almost unlimited for multiple posts?

If so thanks, or did I catch a fluke in programing? (See photo alblum & energy posts), it let me post right down the list off a flash card till I hit 3 MB, then let me start another post with attachments.

Won’t see any replies for a week, off on a trip without laptop.  

This attachment just another thrown in to check more, 2nd grandkid.
