3 or 4 years ago I planted two apple trees. One I planted on what I thought was the edge of the septic field.I actually saw a little gravel in the bottom of the hole. I didn’t want to move it because I was afraid to shift it too close to the foundation of the house. The other tree is no where near the septic field.
Now that tree is 12 or 15 feet high. The other tree is maybe 8 feet high.
I think the roots of the larger tree are in one of the runs of the septic field. It is about 30 feet from the collection box.I think I should cut it down and turn it into chisel handles or use it to smoke sausages. Anybody out there think I should let this thing grow?
thanks
