The Best Cooling/Heating Window Units?
I’ve framed an opening in my new cabin/shed to allow for a window unit to heat and cool a 16’X32′ lower area. To prevent the high cost of copper tubing and Propane heat, I’m considering a cooling/heating unit.
What’s a good brand for this dual purpose unit? Highest energy rating for this kind of unit? Expected cost?
Thanks,
Bill

I would do a search for "ptac unit" or "mini split".
A ptac unit is entirely self contained while a mini split has indoor and outdoor parts.
Both can be had as a heat pump, and the ptac (and some minis) can have resistance strip heat.
