Not much worry about termite and mold damage.
Environment really does make a difference.
Now that's an interesting bit of history. Can you imagine planning, shipping, and building that thing 100 years ago? It's not like Simpson hardware, power tools, and Hardi Plank were an option, let alone insulation. Amazing.
