To thin or not to thin? I’m considering purchasing an HELP sprayer for spraying lacquer primarily, but I would also like to be able to spray heavier acrylic latex paints from time to time. I’ve been looking at the Fiji 3 Stage HELP sprayer but they recommend thinning heavy latex paints by 20% in order for the gun to atomize properly. Does thinning latex paint compromise the integrity of the paint? I know that most manufacturers don’t recommend this. Thanks for you input.
