Aren’t digital watches cool? You can use them as a stopwatch, you can use them to count lap times, you can use them as timers, you can have multiple times for multiple time zones, you can have multiple alarms, you can set them for 24 hour time, you can do almost anything cause THEY’RE PROGRAMMABLE!!!! Computer Geeks love digital watches.
Me? I can’t see the purpose in having a watch that needs a 30 page instruction manual just to change the time from normal to daylight savings. I want a watch to tell me what time it is. I want a watch that has a simple, elegant, easy to read at a glance face. I want a watch that is simple to figure out and simple to set the time. That’s it. I don’t need more complications in my life, I want more simplicity.
This place is a digital watch.

AK, sounds like you need one of them there watches that automatically sets itself everyday by the atomic clock in Colorado.
God I hate those things. Everyone I know who has one has become so anal about time. "Bob, the garbage man was here at 7:30, this am." "No he wasn't. It was 7:28 and it's not supposed to be till 7:30 and my watch sets every day from CO."
haven't worn a watch for about 3 weeks
hardly miss itboblVolo Non Voleo <2 weeksJoe's cheat sheet
they were probably anal about time to begin with and that is why they bought the watch
chicken or the egg?
Yeah, only now they claim superiority on the accuracy front!
It's been at LEAST twenty six years since I've worn a watch.

We tried to buy my Dad a watch one time. He said he didn't need one because...
"the clock at home tells me when it's time to go to work...
the clock at work tells me when it's time to go home...
and, if I'm anywhere else, I stay 'til I feel like leaving."
AK373- I don't even wear a watch anymore. When I started wearing a Nextel phone the watch became redundant.
this place reminds me of ... a kool virtual reality ride! I like the new stuff they have going on here.

I love doing this:
I used to wear a wrist watch...a real fancy time piece
It was very high quality...the hands would never cease
I used to love to wear that watch...I wore it all the time
And then one day I lost that watch...cops called it a street crime
That was a long time ago...20 years passed by
I never bought another one...I really don't know why
But since I've been without one...I truly do not miss it
If I am late to meet you, my @$$, you can kiss it
I'm with you Jerrald, Once I got a cell phone with a clock in it I didn't need a watch.
>Once I got a cell phone with a clock in it I didn't need a watch.
Once I got a wife, I didn't need a cell, clock, or watch...
30 years ago my boss threw his watch in the atlantic..... we were runnin a union job.. and no matter what time he thought it was , the crane oilers thought different... so he took it off and threw it in the water and said we'd use their time from now on....
seemed like a good idea to me.. i threw mine with his....
now there are clocks all over the place.. but not on my wrist...Mike Smith

No kidding! Same idea here, only you have a better story. Haven't worn a watch since my mom smashed the crystal on mine about 25 years ago with a ballpeen hammer (yeah, it was on my wrist, but we were just horsin' around).
